IMPORTANT: Please note that HIPAA requires a signed Business Associate Agreement (BAA) between you and any technology service provider that handles your patient data. This is no different than the BAA signed between you and your EMR/EHR. We will happily sign a BAA with you. We aim to be HIPAA compliant for all, whether you are a clinician starting a new private practice or an established healthcare system. Please contact us for a secure login account and a signed BAA.

Any company (like us) that provides software to you (even de-identifiers or anonymizers that remove PHI), must have a signed BAA with you, in order to be HIPAA compliant. This is because the first step in de-identifying PHI necessarily requires you to share PHI with the technology provider, which means it needs to be done in a HIPAA compliant manner.
